My name is Ashley Rappa, and you likely haven’t heard of me, which I consider proof I’m doing my job well. As a seasoned writer, marketer, and communicator, I’ve spent my career using my love of the written word to promote and pump up the missions and accomplishments of others—a wide variety of companies, organizations, and people whose stories needed telling.
I always try to use my powers for good—I’ve worked for non-profit organizations like The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Plan International before turning my eyes and mind to the world of education as Lincoln School’s Director of Marketing & Communications. The product of a Middle School technology teacher mom, the wife of a Middle School choral director husband, and the mother of a 3-year-old Lincoln School boy, I believe deeply that contributing to schools committed to creative, authentic learning is one of the greatest investments of all.
At my core, I am a writer. At work, I am proud to tell the stories of a remarkable group of students who will no doubt change the world into a more equitable, sustainable, and empathetic place. At home, I am the mom to a walking masterclass in kinetic energy. In my heart, I am a New Hampshire native, a Rhode Islander by choice, and a world traveler in the making. At my best, I believe in the raw and deep beauty of human connection. At my worst, I still believe that, but likely need more coffee.
