Seth Zeren is the Director of Development at Armory Management Company, a full-service real estate company operating on Providence’s West Side. His work focuses on development services, commercial leasing, and construction management. Past projects have included the renovation of a mixed-use mill complex in North Andover, development of a hotel in Salem, MA, and redevelopment of mill and commercial properties in Providence, RI. Seth previously worked as a City Planner in Newton, MA, and New Haven, CT and continues to consult on planning and urban design projects. He brings to the Board his expertise in real estate to aid site selection, facilities development and operation. Seth will also contribute his experience with experiential, community-based education that includes several years’ teaching experience: as a Fulbright ETA in South Korea, as a high school earth science teacher in CT, and teaching Urban Ecology and Development at Boston Architectural College. Seth looks forward to contributing his experience to the school’s curriculum and community-based teaching practices. He lives in the Armory District of Providence’s West Side with his wife and toddler daughter and is excited about the continued redevelopment of Providence. He is active in community organizations and activism around planning and development issues.
